App Soft 30S Web Project

Create a web site about you. The topic could be your favourite destinations, sports, careers, hobbies, etc. and display your work from this semester.

Click on this link My Website to access more details on my website. Remember the user name is recuser and the password is Kodiaks1

You will have a home page called index.html and 4 additional pages. You must include these pages: about me, my favourite links, photo/video gallery and one page of your choosing. The layout is your choice. This could be a basic page or a page with frames (i.e., header, columns, footer, etc.).

Create a new site for this project names WebProjectYName. Save all files to this folder. Create subfolders inside this folder for good organization, e.g., images, folder for each page, etc.

You will be graded on:

Navigation / ease of use - there should be no "dead ends". All links must work and all pages must be connected to each other.
Layout - use of tables and/or frames to space the parts of the page
Graphics - quality and appropriate use for both versions
Technical requirements - files/folder names, images location, etc
Unique elements that add to the site (not stuff you throw in that messes up your layout)
Managing your time - finishing on time - due January 21st, 2010.
